We are seeking candidates who can provide exceptional farm sitting for our client's farm pets.
You should have experience working with horses, goats, cows, sheep, llamas, pigs and other farm pets like chickens.
You must be knowledgeable about the needs of farm pets and have extensive background in caring for them.
Job Responsibilities Clean up after, groom, exercise and provide care for horses, goats, sheep, pigs or any other farm animal that our clients have.
Observe the farm pets and report any issues to our clients asap.
Have experience with bloat, colic, laminitis, & leg & eye injuries and have knowledge on how to treat them until the vet can arrive.
Be responsible to make the decision if a vet is needed for any issues and call the vet or client or both if needed for a sick farm pet.
Close all gates, barn doors be sure farm pets are secure and safe before leaving our client's property.
Feed and provide water, meds, bandage changes, clean stalls and any other care per our client's detailed instructions.
Be respectful of client's homes, barns, and individual property when on-site offering farm sitting services.
Provide additional customer service as requested by clients, which may include picking up mail and/or packages, watering plants, turning on and off lights.
Follow schedule provided by the Waggs 2 Whiskers office and report conflicts and/or issues as soon as possible.
