Reporting to the Plant Manager, this is a demanding role for an ambitious and dynamic professional with drive, determination, and the desire to work in a highly commercial and growth-focused environment.
Position Title:
Quality Manager The successful candidate will:
Oversee the implementation, review, and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) and environmental management system (EMS).
Responsible for validating and verifying any change to our quality or environmental systems and making required changes to the program documents.
Review production procedures, product quality records, and training records of associates to ensure compliance with established manufacturing processes and in-process checks.
Create and comply with internal auditing processes to ensure internal compliance.
Communicates customer concerns regarding rejected or non-conforming products and aids to correct concerns.
Work with departmental personnel to continually improve product and processes.
Assists with trials and studies performed on production floor.
Assist with containment of suspect or non-conforming product, sort and rework activities and final disposition of product following departmental or Quality System instructions.
Has a working knowledge of appearance and dimensional items and the ability to make decisions based on that knowledge and customer requirements.
Participates and follows up on assigned corrective/preventative action meetings including root cause analysis.
Plans, coordinates, manages, and summarizes all audits of quality and environmental management systems.
Create and lead multidisciplinary teams with a primary focus of continuous improvement in accordance with the company's objectives.
Knowledgeable about environmental laws, compliance requirements, informed on regulation changes/impacts (state/federal/internal).
Approachable and available to employees, managers, shifts, etc.
for questions and assistance.
Essential experience and skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field or proven experience working in similar field.
Experience working in the manufacturing sector is an asset.
Strong relationship management and influence skills, with proven the ability to build trust across a diverse population of leaders and stakeholders.
Ability to use a variety of measurement equipment such as scales, dial indicators, tape measures and check fixtures to evaluate product conformance.
Knowledge of current/applicable OSHA, Quality (ISO 9001) and Environment (ISO 14001) standards.
Previous experience managing ISO-9001 and/or 14001 systems and registrations.
Knowledgeable in GD&T, Statistical Process Control, document control, CAR/PAR process, and sampling plans.
Proven ability to drive results with resilience.
Able to deal with multiple projects and competing priorities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand details and apply to big picture concepts.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
