SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
1. GENERAL FUNCTIONS :
To calculate and monitor the performance ratios of the infrastructures. Propose specific action plans in order to correct those ratios situated below the ones established by the final client.
To carry out the necessary installation and periodical maintenance operations to guarantee the correct fulfilment of the infrastructures.
To execute if necessary an adequate contingency plan to insure the continuity of the information systems operation.
To programme, validate and distribute the new programs or improvements related to the systems infrastructures with the quality and the calendar established.
To collaborate in the applications introduction and improvements suggested from the support given to the necessary infrastructures.
To lead local training in the infrastructures which compose the information system of the group.
To develop the necessary operative-technical documentation for the correct execution of the existing operations.
To give technical support, analysing and giving priority to the incidences received. To administer and monitor the breakdowns and the maintenance of the infrastructures of the group in a proactive, quick and effective way.
To administer the computing material purchases following the guidelines established from the Direction.
To cooperate actively with the Management in the maintenance, promotion and enhancement of the OHS.

2. MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIRED OR LEVEL OF EQUIVALENT
Experience:
Academic background:
University degree, specialty Computing, or Secondary or Professional Formation II.
Additional training:
Networks, routers, communications, etc. management. Knowledge in CISCO, MS Office, applications, etc.
Languages:
Medium English level (First Level)

1 year in similar position, or 2 years as a Micro computing Technician.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
