OVEC has an immediate opening for an Early Head Start Primary Caregiver at one of our Shelby County Early Head Start classrooms. Under the supervision of the Local Area Manager, the Primary Caregiver will manage the running of the classroom, conduct home visits/conferences, supervise children on the playground, prepare materials for learning activities, assist in providing safe/sanitary environments for children and work with parents in reference to planning for children's needs. High school diploma or equivalent required. CDA credential for Infant and Toddler required, AA Degree in ECE preferred. Two years' experience in early childhood programs required with a focus on Infants and Toddlers preferred. Position closes October 1, 2014 or when filled.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
