Regional Sourcing Manager (Category) - Louisville/Shelbyville, KY
I'm recruiting candidates for the job role, Regional Logistics Sourcing Manager. This is a job position with a growing, global manufacturing company that offers a wide range of products across multiple industries; i.e., utilities, transportation, agricultural, capex, and more. In this role, you will manage an important, complex regional logistics sourcing program as well as other regional products or service groups in cooperation with a regional team of local buyers and a global category manager.
Job Responsibilities
Analyse historical and future business requirements within the region for the purchasing category in terms of quantity and quality, analyse the supplier market within this category and region and identify multi-plant, regional and global opportunities for leveraging purchasing
Develop and maintain the category spend analysis, savings reporting and supplier passports (if applicable)
Give input and participate in setting the global sourcing strategy and take ownership for the regional sourcing strategy towards the internal stakeholders on scope of contracting (local & regional), potential supplier base, type and duration of contract to optimise/lower the TCO for this company in the full supply chain and other business areas
Steer the management of specifications for important and critical products or services: make sure that the specifications are clear and available in the system and assure (delegate) the communication to the suppliers.
Participate in the definition and deployment of the short and long term targets for the category and allow a transparent follow up and communication of the performance against targets.
Implement the regional sourcing KPI's by leading or delegating the tendering and negotiation process for critical products or services and by following up the implementation of the contracts towards key internal customers and the suppliers (complaint handling, day-to-day business with suppliers, etc.).
Manage and coach the local tactical buyers and other purchasing functions in reaching the targets for the region within the purchasing category and reach process effectiveness and standardization.
Start up, manage and implement TCO projects on important product/services in order to come to an optimal balance between the cost and the added value for our company in close cooperation with all internal customers and stakeholders
Assure the compliance within the region and category with purchasing blueprint, standards and procedures and the maintain of an up to date database
Participate in the implementation of category strategy by leading or delegating the tendering and negotiation process for critical products or services and by following up the implementation of the contracts
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Art degree
5-7 years Strategic Purchasing experience, within category
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience in Microsoft platforms and SAP
Ability to travel up to 25%

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
