Summary:
Performs manufacturing duties in the scheduling, production, and quality control areas in the production of SSW LoC products. All operational areas at BSV are supported by this function. Work as part of a manufacturing shift Team to perform wire manufacturing duties utilizing multi-functional skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Consult the BSV Management Plan for Production and Maintenance Team members for details concerning duties and responsibilities.
Areas of operation include:
Rod yard
First Draw
EG Line
Second Draw
Wet Draw
Dramix
Nylon
Testing
Warehouse
Shipping/Receiving
Utilization of fork trucks and other rolling stock to transfer materials and equipment.
Operation of drawing equipment
Operation of heat treatment furnace, lead bath, cleaning, galvanizing, and packaging lines.
Operation of welders
Operation of computers to record production and maintain schedules.
Ability to function in a Team Work environment.
Environmental Management System (EMS) roles, responsibilities, and authorities are defined at relevant functions and levels within the facility

Abides by BSV Occupational Health and Safety Policy, and maintains proper PPE, consistent with Job Safety Analysis and Hazard Assessments.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and /or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock . The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Pay
Starting at $11.00. $14.00 when hired. Up to $19.95 within 2 years
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
