What You Will Do


The Inside Sales Engineer will be focused on establishing new customers and increasing the sales volume for the company as well as assisting internal and external customers by evaluating customer applications and providing relevant technical advice. Duties include qualifying new leads, managing small customers, responding to incoming inquiries from potential customers, developing a competitive quoting structure for new customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Identifies revenue opportunities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.

  • Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company s established trading and vendor partners.

  • Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.

  • Communicates with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.

  • Manage and establish pricing structure for new customers.

  • Works closely with the executive leadership team, finance, facilities, and operations teams to properly plan and quote for potential new customers.

  • Lead the transition of new basic projects to the production environment including coordination, testing, and advise to sales on all prototype systems along with first run production orders.

  • Responds to requests from customers for information and gives presentations/conducts facility tours for customers.

  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.

  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure.

  • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

  • Travel, including occasional overnight travel for site visits/tradeshows may be required (up to 25%).

  • Perform any other duties requested.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor s Degree in manufacturing engineering or related technical field required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an application engineering, sales engineering or similar technical sales role strongly preferred.

  • Drug Screen and Criminal Background check required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
